Nate's Big Day

Nate participated in a Splash 'n' Dash at the YMCA on Saturday the 18th to promote healthy kids. He swam 200 meters without stopping, immediately put on running shoes and then ran a mile. Yea, Nate!!! We are so proud of him. Get your kids out there and keep them active!!!!!!!!

Chad's Birthday Dinner

The family decided to take Chad out for an early birthday dinner to Rocky Mountain Grill last Thursday night to enjoy some seafood. All of the parents were able to make it and Faye made some GREAT pies for dessert and brought them to the restaurant. We were able to realize once again just how lucky we are to have such a wonderful family as a part of our life. We are truly blessed!!! Happy Birthday Chad!!! Only 2 more years and you'll be forty!!!!

Easter at Our House

Easter at home was a little lonely with Chad on duty, but we had fun dyeing all the easter eggs. Shelby liked the purple and Nate liked the shrinky dinks. Then, Easter morning we went to the sunrise service and breakfast at church, followed by a relaxing day at Mi-Maw and Papa's house for great food and visiting. Let our Lord Live!!!! What a day to Celebrate!!!!

Nate's Big Day!!!

Nate went hunting with Chad and Cecil during the youth hunt, and shot himself a beautiful turkey just after Cecil started to call the birds in. Dad was right there with Nate, and proud. The turkey was just under 21# with a 10 7/8 inch beard. Chad is having it mounted for him.

Long time, no See!!!

Just some pics of the kids from the last couple months. Shelbi and Shelby love to dress up and they both decided to be a bride one day. Scary. The cute red head is Anna, Shelby's friend that stayed over on New Year's.
Things have been busy. Chad is still in school for paramedic full time and doing awesome. I am now part-time nurse, full-time student, and just got accepted to UCA grad school for my masters for my nurse practitioner. Yea!!! Busy, busy. The kids are great. We will try and keep this blog updated, promise.
